I have just bought this lovely book by @matthewricewatercolours for our youngest who has just started History of Art A Level. She’s not usually overly grateful for book gifts but this book is especially beautifully illustrated and painstakingly produced. Apparently this and the other book I got her by @matthewricewatercolours on the Language of Architecture are recommended by the teachers and I can see why. First published in 1991 the information and explanations are as useful today as they ever were.
